Indian Ocean Conference

The second edition of the Indian Ocean Conference was held by the India Foundation and Indian government in Sri Lanka in 2017. Countries along the Indian Ocean were invited to participate in the conference. The conference’s purpose was to hope that all participating countries would be encouraged to peacefully develop and create a better future together. The World Peace Association was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech stressing the importance of peaceful and harmonious common development which will provide a stable living environment for people in these countries and help in making the global environment more peaceful.
